Standard & Poor's confirms the rating of Banca Popolare di Milano, Veneto Banca and Bper. After the promotion received in the stress tests conducted by the ECB, the three institutes have seen their judgment and outlook reconfirmed by the US rating agency.
Meanwhile, in Piazza Affari the stock of Banco Popolare dell'Emilia Romagna advances at a brisk pace, recording an increase of more than 2% in mid-morning, signaling itself as one of the best stocks on the Italian list, which in the same minutes travels in largely positive territory. Bpm also did well, gaining more than 1%.
Among the stocks going against the trend, however, Banca Carige stands out, with low volatility around 7% after yesterday's -10%. Since the beginning of the year, the Genoese bank has lost 62,45% in Piazza Affari. The rejection of the stress tests and the negative "creditwatch" placed by Standard & Poor's on the institute weigh on Carige.
