The Volkswagen Group has warned its suppliers about possible production cuts, which in autumn it could also be cut by about 10%. This was stated by the German magazine 'Automobilwoche', according to which a Volkswagen spokesman called the news "speculation", even though he admitted that the coming months "on the whole could prove to be much more difficult and demanding".
The German group, according to the newspaper, would have added that it has not yet revised its production plans for autumn and winter downwards. The board believes it possible that in some countries the economy could improve.
