Simplifications help make the dream of being an entrepreneur come true. Over 10 thousand young people under the age of 35 who, during 2013, seized the opportunity offered by the provision which gave birth to the so-called "one euro Srls", i.e. simplified limited liability companies set up with the law of 24 March 2012, n. 27.
By virtue of this law, which became fully operational on 29 August 2012, the under 35s had the opportunity to set up a company with a share capital of less than 10 thousand euros and without paying notary fees, secretarial fees due to the Chamber of Commerce and stamp duty.
Lazio and Campania, with over 1.700 registrations of simplified limited liability companies under 35, compete for leadership at the regional level, followed by Lombardy with 1.135. Instead, Campania leads the ranking for the incidence of registrations in 2013 on the total number of simplified limited liability companies set up during the year, given that 63,8% of these new businesses have shareholders under the age of thirty-five at their helm.
Overall, simplified Srls (including in this sense also those made up of "older" entrepreneurs) numbered almost 19 thousand in 2013, with a strong concentration in Lazio (where 3.195 were born), Campania (2.666) and in Lombardy (2.152).
Considering the 22 simplified Srls registered with the Chambers of Commerce as at 31 December 2013, over 35 are owed to the under 13s, with an incidence on the total that reached 58,5%.
