Spread Btp-Bund up, rates over 5% again

Back to widening slightly the BTP-Bund spread, but remains below the 340 basis point ceiling. After opening at 331, the yield spread between our 10-year government bonds and the equivalent German Bunds has risen to a maximum of 338. The new spread of the gap signals that interest rates on the Italian 5-year are back above the psychological threshold of XNUMX%, albeit by a few decimals (5.068%).

The Spanish spread was also slightly up, opening at 407 and in a few minutes returning to over 410 points, up to a maximum of 415. Yields on 10-year Bonos are 5.845%.

Meanwhile, after last week's rally and in the wake of the negative performance of the Asian stock exchanges, Piazza Affari is down by about one point.
