Historical low for the spread-btp-bund which registers a new record after yesterday's sharp drop. At 11,55 today the differential between the Italian btp and the German bund fell to 107 basis points, a figure also lower than the previous record of 26 January when the spread was 109 and which stands at values close to pre-crisis levels.

Meanwhile, the Treasury has assigned all the 3 billion euros of Ctz maturing in 2017 with rates falling to an all-time low of 0,219%. Also sold BTPs indexed to eurozone inflation maturing in 2026 for one billion with an average yield of 0,62%.
