Sparkle, the strategic subsidiary of Telecom Italia that manages thousands of kilometers of submarine cables, has a new president. We are talking about Alessandro Pansa, who will officially enter the Board of Directors starting from 15 May. The news was released by Telecom in a note.
Pansa, who takes the place of Stefano Siragusa, was in the past Chief of Police-General Director of Public Security and head of Dis (Department of Information for Security).
The manager, explains the group's note, will also cover the role of "advisor to Tim for issues relating to the organization of safety with regard to the 'Golden Power' legislation, also offering an important contribution in defining the initiatives that the group telephone intends to put in place to strengthen its Cybersecurity safeguards for the company and for its customers".
Pansa began his career in the State Police in 1975 with the rank of Deputy Commissioner of Public Security, assuming various positions of responsibility over the years.
