A decidedly dramatic moment for Spain. The Iberian country, which with its serious crisis is infecting the eurozone, saw its unemployment rate grow again in the second quarter of 2012: now practically one citizen out of 4 has no job, 24,63% to be precise.
Numerically, this means that 5,7 million people are currently out of work in Spain, and all this also considering that the period in question also takes into consideration the beginning of the summer season, which finds a notable driving force in tourism. The only positive fact: unemployment continued to grow, but at a slower pace than in recent quarters.
