Spanish industrial production is growing again. After 1,4 consecutive months in negative territory, seasonally adjusted production rose 1,5% year-on-year in September, surprising analysts who had forecast a contraction of 2,1%. In August, the figure had marked a drop of XNUMX%.
This was revealed by the national statistics office INE, according to which the driving force behind growth, the first since February 2011, was the production of capital goods.
