Spain: government injects 7,55 billion into four banks

The Spanish state has decided to inject 7,55 billion euros into four savings banks in the country. This was communicated today by the Bank of Spain, which also announced the conclusion of the process of recapitalization of the financial sector begun in 2009.

“The recapitalization process has concluded. All entities meet the new solvency levels,” said the governor of the Bank of Spain, Miguel Angel Fernandez Ordonez. This decision should reinvigorate the Iberian banking system.
