The number of unemployed in Spain decreased by 1.949 units in February, equal to -0,04% compared to the previous month, for a total of 4,8 million people outside the labor market.
Over the year there were 227.736 fewer people registered on the unemployment lists, down by 4,52%. "This is the first drop recorded in February since 2007," the ministry said in a statement, recalling that February, away from holidays and the summer season, is traditionally a negative month for the labor market.
