Sotheby's London presents the Impressionist & Modern Art Evening Sale on 3 February 2015, with a selection of extraordinary works by the greatest artists of the 19th and 20th centuries. Leading the sale is Claude Monet's painting "Le Grand Canal" with an estimate of 25-38.000.000 million euros, a work painted by the master in 1908.
The exclusivity of this appointment is completed by other very important works by artists such as Matisse, Kandinsky, De Toulouse-Lautrec, Auguste Rodin, etc.
The interest in impressionist art remains unchanged, confirming the growing attention and values already compared to last year. Now it is to be understood on the basis of the auction how much the increase will be, certainly given that the interest in these artists is crossing every world border, involving collectors from every corner of the world, it will not be surprising if there will be records.
