The evaluation of RobecoSAM is based on economic, environmental and social performance criteria and on a review of the main controversies. The areas analyzed include: risk management, corporate governance, environmental impacts, community relations, human resource management, stakeholder engagement, respect for human rights and supply chain control.

The Italian group, which enters the Gold Class for the fifth time in 10 years, achieved an overall score of 91/100, the highest in its history and the highest among Electric Utilities, a sector that recorded an average score of 46/100.
