Terna has been recognized among the 50 most sustainable companies in the world. Specifically, the company that manages the national electricity grid recorded excellent performance with reference to leadership, transparency and sustainable business practices.

The 2020 Seal Organizational Impact Award selects the winners by combining two types of ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) data: the Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA, now included in S&P Global ESG Scores) and the CDP A-List (formerly the Carbon Disclosure Project).

The Csa therefore recorded Terna's excellent performance in the Dow Jones Sustainability Index which, for the third consecutive year, sees it in first place in the world in the sector Electric Utilities of the Dow Jones Sustainability World Index, with the score of 90/1000, and the consequent recognition of the Gold Class of S&P for the seventh consecutive year.
