Among over 200 companies perceived as more sustainable according to the ESG Perception Index and in third place in the ranking in the finance sector and 15th, Sace confirms itself as one of the greenest companies on the web

Sace in the top 20 of the most sustainable companies and ranked third in the finance sector. The company led by Pierfrancesco Latini climbs the ranking ofESG Reputation Index and reaches fifteenth place among the 200 greenest companies on the web and arrives on the podium in the finance sector. The ESG Perception Index, created by Reputation Science, a leading company in Italy in the analysis and management of reputation, measures the perception of sustainability of companies and has rewarded Sace's path, alongside Italian companies and for the country's sustainable development.

In detail, the analysis model is based on qualitative-quantitative and structural parameters such as the volume of content on sustainability published on the company's website and social channels, the reputational impact on the brand and the association of brand identity with sustainability on search engines.

Sectors lead the ESG Perception Index ranking Energy, Automotive and Finance, occupying 85% of the top 20 positions. These are the protagonists in the energy and environmental transition, often called to act before others. Among all, the finance sector stands out, confirming the strategic role in the transition towards a sustainable society, with an average higher than the general one and which can count as many as 4 companies among the top 20 classified.

The excellent positioning in the ESG Reputation Index ranking is the result of the commitment to the creation of shared value with the utmost attention to social issues e environmental: protection of health, safety and the quality of corporate life, sustainable finance, direct commitment to the environment, support for SMEs and high-potential companies, rigor in corporate conduct, attention and customer care, transparency and simplification, innovation and digitization , specialization of territorial and sectoral skills: these are the guidelines along which sustainability in Sace is concretely developed, recently collected and told to all stakeholders in a dedicated report.

Also obtained the seal of quality "Green Star Sustainability 2021” in the Insurance sector, Sace has always been committed to supporting Italian companies in their development on the global market. A new role that led to 62 billion euros: with 34,7 billion euros in support of exports and the internationalization of Italian companies, 26,5 billion euros in support of liquidity through the Garante Italia instrument and 0,8 billion euros mobilized for new operations linked to the Green New Deal and which will grow in the coming months.

Furthermore, in the first half of 2021, the Company joined the Climate Change Policy, a series of ad hoc measures to improve the contribution of business activities to the reduction of climate-changing emissions, which introduces a ban on supporting projects with a particularly high impact on the environment.

Lastly, as Sace is the direct manager of the guarantee program linked to the Green New Deal, will be able to play a strategic role in the Italian ecological transition, also by supporting the investments envisaged by the PNRR. All this in line with the guidelines and taxonomy defined by the European Union, within the context of the Technical Expert Group on sustainable finance, a decisive step towards the definition of a reference framework for the growth and sustainable development of Italy.
