Poste Italiane confirms its attention to sustainability. The company led by Matteo Del Fante received the evaluation "A-"In the category Climate Change da CDP (Carbon Disclosure Project), the international non-profit organization that provides businesses, local authorities, governments and investors with a global system of environmental measurement and reporting. It also has confirmed his position of global leader for sustainability and inclusion policies in the insurance sector in the 2024 edition of Sustainability Year Book of Standard & Poor's Global.
The opinion of the Carbon Disclosure Project
CDP praised the Group's performance, noting a remarkable improvement in the disclosure of risks and opportunities, risk management and emissions reduction initiatives towards a low-carbon model. The score obtained of "A-", on a scale from "D-" to "A", exceeds both the European regional average and that of the "Intermodal Transport and Logistics" sector.
CDP is a non-profit organization recognized as an international "gold standard" in environmental reporting that manages a global system for the disclosure and evaluation of performance and strategies against climate change. CDP's assessment focuses onaccuracy of published data, on understanding the impacts of business on climate change and on the progress made by companies in this direction, also in relation to ESG objectives and targets.
S&P Global's Sustainability Yearbook
Il Sustainability Year Book di S&P Global, based on the results of the Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA), highlights and classifies the most deserving companies globally in terms of ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) performance.
Thanks to its score in the CSA 2023, Poste Italiane was included in the Sustainability Yearbook 2024 together with other 758 companies selected out of over 9.400 evaluated by the CSA. In the insurance sector, the Group is theonly one to be ranked in the top 1% among the 212 companies assessed by the rating agency, confirming its leading position in the sector. Among the 29 companies selected to be included in the document, Poste Italiane is the only representative of the insurance sector.

Poste Italiane has received numerous awards for its practices sustainability. In addition to inclusion in the Sustainability Yearbook 2024, the Group has achieved a platinum medal from EcoVadis, a rating of “AA” in the MSCI rating, and an improved rating from Moody's. It has been included in prestigious international sustainability indices such as Dow Jones Sustainability Index World and Europe, Integrated Governance Index (IGI), Euronext Equileap Gender Equality Eurozone 100, FTSE4Good, Bloomberg Gender-Equality Index and Stoxx Global ESG Leaders.
