A young Pirelli manager, Francesca Martucci, was awarded the recognition of “Sdg Pioneer Italy 2019” by Global Compact Network Italy, awarded by the United Nations body to young professionals who have distinguished themselves for their commitment to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Among the projects considered for the assignment of the award, those related to the sustainability of the Pirelli natural rubber supply chain, also promoted and illustrated through the recent creation of the digital platform Being Fast Time.
Martucci, Pirelli's "sustainability specialist", born in 1988, she is the first Italian for the SDGs and as such will participate in the global competition for the title United Nations Global Compact SDG Pioneer 2019.
