Sustainability, Enel confirmed in the Ftse4Good index

The group gets confirmation with a score of 4,1 out of 5

The Enel group was reconfirmed in the FTSE4Good index, obtaining an absolute score of 4,1 out of 5 in ESG (Environmental – Social – Governance) performance. The company announced this by recalling that the index measures the behavior of companies in areas such as the fight against climate change, governance, respect for human rights and the fight against corruption. 'We note with satisfaction how the importance given to sustainability, as a key factor in our industrial and commercial choices, is widely recognized.

The group's constant inclusion in the FTSE4Good Index since 2011 demonstrates how this recognition is growing – said the managing director, Francesco Starace. “We will continue to strive to live up to the most demanding environmental, social and governance standards and continue to grow our sustainability leadership in the energy sector.”
