Sorgente Res restarts the stock market listing project

Sorgente Res gets back to work on the listing project after the postponement decided in mid-November due to market conditions. The real estate company led by Valter Mainetti will hold its shareholders' meeting on Monday, a crucial step in view of the landing in Piazza Affari which could take place in the first half of 2015 on the MTA list.

The new strategy developed by Sorgente Res involves a three-step process. The first phase envisages that the real estate group identifies some assets that will form the first nucleus with which the company will be created, which will have a free float of approximately 25% collected from institutional investors. In this way, the company will be able to immediately join the Siiq regime (listed real estate investment company) after the approval of the Sblocca Italia decree revised the minimum free float from 35 to 25%.

Sorgente Res will then grow, in a second phase, through a capital increase with contributions of assets from third parties, including the Turin-based Ipi, now owned by the Segre family. Finally, the third and final stage will see further capital increases which will be used to raise resources to be used for new investments.
