Sorgenia yesterday hosted the ceremony at its headquarters during which the international certifying body DNV GL delivered the certification relating to the credit risk management scheme to the company. The digital energy company is the first company in the utilities sector to reach this milestone which certifies an effective credit management process. The credit risk management certification attests to the implementation of a management system that benefits both customers and the company.

The process makes it possible to distinguish those who have problems paying from those who do not pay instrumentally. Full support is guaranteed to the former, through methods of conciliation and mediation and evaluation of a repayment plan, so as to prevent the situation from becoming more complicated. With this management methodology, Sorgenia has also increased reliability towards investors, decreased disputes and contributed to improving its economic results overall.
