Sorgenia takes a further step towards simplification, making its customers' relationship with energy even more immediate and intuitive. In fact, from mid-March, customers of the digital energy company that has been supplying electricity and gas since 1999 will be able to ask the Skill Sorgenia for Alexa, Amazon's voice service, how much they consumed and spent on their supply. They will also have access to all the energy efficiency, smart home and e-mobility solutions made available by the company, as well as get tips on how to save. It will also be possible to carry out self-reading directly with Alexa, speeding up an operation that is already fast today thanks to the dedicated app, so as to receive increasingly precise gas bills because smart meters are not yet widespread.

But that's not all: Sorgenia customers, through the dedicated Alexa Skill, will be able to receive information on energy sustainability and clarifications on reading your bill. In this way, everyone will have an innovative and dedicated contact channel at their disposal, thanks to which they can always keep track of their consumption and from which they can receive advice for saving, with a view to sustainability and energy efficiency. “We are committed to offering our customers the solutions they need, through an experience that is as rewarding as possible, leveraging the innovative solutions that technology offers us with exponential growth. With the introduction of the Alexa Skill we have embraced a new philosophy, using a technology well established in other sectors but new in our world. We will simplify our customers' relationship with energy. For us, digital is just that: a powerful tool that allows us to make energy freer, more personal, sustainable and shared,” he said. Simone Lo Nostro, Market & Ict Director. At the moment the service is reserved for residential customers; it will also be progressively extended to digital VAT numbers.
