Sony, more and more crisis: in the second quarter losses of 250 million euros

Sony's crisis worsens. The Japanese electronics group underwent in the second quarter 2012 an accentuation of its net loss, precipitated to 24,6 billion yen (250 million euros) compared to the 15,5 billion yen of the same period last year.

The flop is due to the collapse of PC sales, the too strong yen and the general economic situation. Sony has also had to revise its target for 2013: it initially expected to reach a profit of 30 billion yen within the first quarter of next year, while it has now scaled back to 20 billion (200 million euros).
