Anti-Covid-19 solidarity: Snam allocates 20 million

Snam, the Italian company that manages the gas network, takes the field against the coronavirus crisis and does so by allocating 20 million euros. He announced it on his LinkedIn profile the managing director of the company, Marco Alverà: Snam is therefore joining the solidarity relay of large Italian companies, launched a few days ago by Intesa Sanpaolo, which has said it is willing to donate up to 100 million euros for the health emergency.

“Snam, also through the Snam Foundation – revealed Alverà -, has allocated 20 million euros to carry out initiatives in favor of the Italian health system and the third sector to counter the coronavirus emergency. Snam's funds and expertise will be allocated to hospitals, health facilities and other entities for the purchase of necessary equipment and goods, for health care and to support third sector organizations that deal with the protection of young and old".

“We have also activated contacts – added the manager – to find ventilators in other countries of the world. We work in close coordination with the authorities. With this initiative we want to be close with all our people to healthcare workers – who are working tirelessly and extraordinarily – and to support the institutions, the third sector and the Italian territories committed to tackling the emergency. It is a moment of difficulty and concern but with responsibility and cohesion we will be able to overcome it".
