Gabriele Del Torchio is the new managing director of Il Sole 24 ore. This was decided today by the editorial group's board of directors, co-opting the manager to replace the non-executive and non-independent director Cesare Puccioni, who resigned. This is what we read in a note.
In assuming the position, Del Torchio, who will have full management powers of the company, said he was willing to leave some positions held in other companies.
"Based on the information currently in the possession of the Company, the newly appointed Del Torchio does not hold any stake in the company's capital", the note specifies.
On 6 June, Del Torchio resigned from the presidency of Snai. Previously, the manager had been CEO of Alitalia and before that of Ducati, where he also held the position of president.
