Sogefi, net profit for the first 9 months +40%

Ebitda rose by 18,6% (76,5 million), while revenues increased by 20,8% (829,8 million) – According to the Cir group company, "the positive results obtained by the group should be confirmed also for the 2011 financial year”.

Great performance in the first nine months of the year for Sogefi. Between January and September, the auto components company of the Cir group scored a net profit of 18,8 million euros, up 40% compared to the same period of the previous year. The operating result amounted to 67,8 million euro, an increase of 34,2%.

“The positive results obtained by the group in the first nine months should also be confirmed for the 2011 financial year”, reads the company note. EBITDA rose 18,6% (76,5 million), while revenues increased by 20,8% (829,8 million), for double-digit growth in all reference markets.

Since August Sogefi has started the procedures for the consolidation of Systemes Moteurs, which it completed the acquisition on 29 July. Therefore, on a like-for-like basis, revenues would have grown by 13% and EBITDA by 11%.

In the wake of these numbers, Sogefi's stock gains almost 2,86% in Piazza Affari.
