The components company of the Cir group scores an important blow for its future. Sogefi has signed a supply contract with Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi for a new battery pack cooling manifold for battery electric vehicles (BEV).

According to what was communicated by the company, the Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi alliance is the world leader in the BEV sector and the new component guarantees the improvement of the battery temperature regulation circuit, increasing its efficiency and duration.

“This contract represents a milestone in our strategy for profitable growth – said Laurent Hebenstreit, CEO of Sogefi – It confirms Sogefi's ability to successfully develop advanced technologies for battery electric cars. Sogefi's close collaboration with the car manufacturers' Research and Development departments, as well as our technical reliability, from the design phase to series production, are among the key factors of this success".

The new cooling manifold will be produced by Sogefi starting from 2021 in the French plant of Chateauroux.

It should be underlined that Sogefi is one of the world leaders in the automotive components market with innovative products in three areas of activity: filtration, suspension, air and cooling.

At Piazza Affari, the Sogefi share dropped by 0,14% to 2,92 euros.
