Snam closed the first nine months of the year with total revenues of 1,896 billion (+1,9% compared to the pro forma adjusted total of 2016 thanks to continuous investments and higher volumes of gas injected), an operating profit of 1,063 billion ( +3,3%) and a net profit of €755 million (+18,2% compared to the adjusted pro-forma net profit of the first nine months of 2016, also thanks to lower net financial expenses which benefit from the reduction in the average cost of debt).
The adjusted EBITDA amounted to 1,545 billion (+3,9%). Technical investments reached 683 million euros (+15,0%) and free cash flow 818 million. The board also approved an interim dividend of 0,0862 euro per share which will be paid starting on 24 January.
"The positive results achieved in the nine months reflect both the investments made and the greater commitment to operational efficiency - underlined the CEO Marco Alverà in a note - Thanks to the results achieved, we confirm our commitment to guaranteeing shareholders profitable and remunerative growth" .
Finally, the actions to increase efficiency also continue: 12 million have already been achieved in the nine months against a target of 10.
