Snam-Tamoil: agreement for 5 natural gas service stations

Snam, through its subsidiary Snam4Mobility, has signed an agreement with Tamoil for the construction of 5 natural gas filling stations through which the two companies aim to contribute to the further development of sustainable mobility in our country.

According to the provisions of the contract, the two companies will collaborate to design, build and provide for the maintenance and operation of 4 new compressed natural gas plants and a new liquefied and compressed natural gas plant within the national network of Tamoil brand.

"The contract - reads the note - is part of the Snam4Mobility initiatives to boost the growth of the CNG and LNG distribution network in Italy, through direct investments and agreements with other operators in the sector".

At this juncture, it should be remembered that around 1 million methane-powered vehicles circulate in Italy, with 1.300 service stations, a real European record.

At Piazza Affari, the Snam share gained 0,78% to 4,358 euros against a 0,2% drop in the Ftse Mib pending the Fed and weighed down by cars and luxury goods.
