At the Interior Ministry, the Minister of the Interior Matteo Piantedosi and the CEO of Snam Stefano Venier have signed a protocol aimed at preventing e counteract the infiltrations of crime organized in the activities of the energy infrastructure company.
The details of the agreement
The agreement, which is part of a national strategy of collaboration between public and private, has the aim of strengthening the security , legality nationwide, protecting the legal economy. This measure is particularly significant given the importance of strategic works that Snam will implement in the coming years, many of which are foreseen by National Recovery and Resilience Plan (Pnrr).
A key point of the collaboration is the prevention of threats to essential infrastructure of the work gas Italian taste and irregularities in the management of personnel and procurement.
To ensure the effectiveness of the agreement, a control room with representatives of the Interior Ministry and Snam, who will facilitate a continuous exchange of information and monitor the implementation of the protocol.
There are also protocols local between Snam and the Prefectures to adapt the measures to the specific needs of the territories in which the company operates, further strengthening safety and legality at a local level.
