Snam rewards the first startups included in the program focused on hydrogen

Snam awarded the first startups that joined Hyaccelerator, the acceleration program focused on hydrogen promoted by the company last October. The winners were the French Atawey, active in filling stations, and Switzerland EH Group, specializing in fuel cells. A six-month acceleration and mentorship path will open up for them together with the Italian multinational Particular Materials which will be included in a special Snam R&D program dedicated to promising technologies under development.

About 70 startups from all over the world participated in the first call; around fifty European candidates and around twenty from the USA and Asia. The business areas ranged over the entire hydrogen chain, from production to transport, storage and final uses in industrial sectors and in mobility. The selection was made by a jury made up of the top managers of the San Donato Milanese company.

The objective of the program is to exploit the technologies with the greatest potential to accelerate the development of hydrogen and thus contribute to the decarbonisation efforts of the economic system, in line with national and international climate objectives.
