Snam's shareholders' meeting approved today the partial and proportional demerger plan of the subsidiary Italgas. 69,9% of the shareholders present voted in favour, no one expressed their opinion against and the percentage of abstentions was equal to 0,02% of the shares represented.
The plan provides the spin-off of the subsidiary Italgas and its listing on the Stock Exchange "within the year", even if an official date for the landing at Piazza Affari has not yet been provided.
The outcome of the ordinary part of the meeting was also positive, relating to the repurchase of post-demerger shares up to a 3,5% stake, with 69,4% of votes in favour, 0,46% against and 0,01% abstentions.
Meanwhile, Snam stock on the Stock Exchange at the end of the morning it gained 0,4%, at 5,195 euros per share.
