Instead, as regards the foreign market, according to Snaidero, the sector is showing positive signs: “We closed 2014 on 2013 with a +2,7%, therefore 11,5 billion in exports, while the domestic market is suffering more, where the mobile bonuses helped us not to drop further: compared to minus 4-5% in previous years, the decline last year we contained it to -2,5%".
A slowdown, that of the decline of the internal market, which has allowed the rescue "of 10 thousand jobs and also 3 thousand and 600 companies that have not closed". From the entry into force of the bonus, in fact, the recovery of the sector has begun: “Con 1,8 billion in revenue, with an unexpected VAT revenue of 360 million euros”.
The furniture bonus, however, is approaching its expiry, set for 31 December 2015, but Snaidero has already asked “the government for it to be a structural measure for our sector, we'll see. Next week we will have the opportunity to meet various government representatives and we will repeat our request”.
