There are now three business units of the group. Ventilation will support the historical business of Heating. The “Metering” unit was split in two with the creation of the Smart Gas and Water operating area

SIT restructures itself: three operating areas and a new Ventilation business

Sit SpA, multinational that creates intelligent solutions for the control of environmental conditions and for measuring consumption, has restructured its business units introducing a new operational area, that of "ventilation" which will complement the historical core business “Heating".

THEgoal of the business unit is to develop and supply solutions for the continuous improvement of theefficiency of heating appliances gas, hybrid, biomethane and hydrogen, as well as solutions for ventilation and air quality in indoor spaces, integrated into the domestic ecosystem, which guarantee the control and monitoring of the comfort of the rooms, maximizing energy efficiency.

Sit is a company quoted at the stock exchange in the Euronext Milan segment.

The three business units of Sit

Sit now consists of three business units: Heating & Ventilation, Smart Gas Metering and Water Metering. In the new structure, the “Metering” business is thus divided in two.

A boss of the Heating & Ventilation business unit was appointed Walter Albe, responsible for coordinating sales, supply chain, industrial technologies, quality and operations of the group's plants.

Smart Gas Metering has as its mission the design and construction of gas meters for residential and industrial systems, providing customers with new digital technologies for data reading, consumption control and cutting-edge measuring instruments in the sector. At the head of the unit there is Julius Prandi, former Chief Operation Officer of the SIT group since 2018. La Water Metering Business Unit, instead, has as its objective the design, production and marketing of water consumption measurement solutions with both traditional and smart technology, with the aim of providing water sector utilities and local municipalities with solutions to increase efficiency and accelerate their sustainability strategies at the best total cost of ownership. At the head of this unit there is Gianpaolo Anselmi since the acquisition of the Portuguese company Janz at the end of 2020.

La new division of the units will make it possible to manage the reference markets in which the group operates more effectively.
