MeteRSit, a company of the SIT group which designs, manufactures and markets innovative gas meters, has received the UNI EN ISO/IEC 17025 certification from Accredia, the single accreditation body designated by the Italian Government. The certification covers the calibration of volume meters and gas flow meters performed in the metrological laboratory of Padua, recognizing their characteristics of quality, integrity and precision. The accreditation also allows MeteRSit to offer certification services with legal value to third parties and competitors, also carrying out analyzes in external laboratories.
"There are only three laboratories in all of Italy that carry out, in the meter sector, certified calibration activities for both volume and gas flow rate and being one of these companies makes us very proud”, commented Federico De' Stefani, President and CEO of SIT. “A recognition that is the result of a first and foremost internal qualitative path, as the accredited MeteRSit laboratory is independent of Research & Development activities.
