Since the publication of the decree relating to the Bonus earthquake there was a succession of interventions that partially defused the effectiveness of this provision, born on the impulse of former Minister Lupi, kept in the drawer for over a year by former Minister Delrio, only to be finally presented in 2017, only a few months after the Amatrice earthquake. Now, part of this bonus has been canceled with the new finance law.

It is strange that, despite the "seniority" of the Italian building heritage and the high seismic risk of our country, it is still so difficult to implement a virtuous path for risk mitigation. This path necessarily passes from the knowledge/awareness of the risk itself".
It should be remembered that there is not only this problem, for which all the preparatory activities for the assignment of the seismic risk class are not financed if the seismic improvement of the building is not then proceeded with. Added to this is the transfer of credit by incompetent people, to date still mired in bureaucracy, as well as the low value recognized to industrial warehouses. All that remains is to hope for the Simplification Decree, hoping that Minister Toninelli will collect the requests of the representatives of the associations of professionals in the sector.
