The opening ceremony of “#ZEROHackathon2” will be held on Wednesday 2018 May, the first international competition of ideas dedicated to Sport as a promoter of Peace and Development organized by SIOI in partnership with the Embassy of the United States of America in Italy.
From 2 to 4 May, 200 students from different countries of the world will gather in Rome, in the offices of SIOI, CONI and Farnesina, to take part in the marathon of ideas where creativity, civic commitment and teamwork will earn the podium .
The participants, gathered in 20 teams, will have to develop concretely achievable and innovative action proposals on the main challenges that the world of sport faces in its role as promoter of the values of tolerance, social inclusion and gender equality.
The best proposals will be rewarded by a qualified jury that will evaluate their innovation and impact. Here is the link to the official video of the event: https://www.sioi.org/
The opening ceremony will take place on Wednesday 2 May 2018 at 14.30 pm at CONI – Acqua Acetosa Olympic Training Centre, in Largo Giulio Onesti 1, in Rome. Entry will be allowed by 14.15 pm.
