Singapore F1: Rosberg on pole, Vettel last

Here is the starting order of the Grand Prix. A technical problem forced Sebastian to give up on the last possible lap, but he relaunched.

Nico Rosberg, on Mercedes, took pole position in the 2016 Singapore GP, the fifteenth round of the Formula 1 World Championship. Alongside the German, who set the best time with 1'42"584, Daniel Ricciardo will also start from the front row with the Red Bull (1'43"115). Fifth position for the Ferrari of Kimi Raikkonen (1'43"540), who will have the McLaren of Lewis Hamilton (1'43"288) ahead of him on the second row, third on the grid, and the Red Bull of Max Verstappen (1'43”328), fourth. Sebastian Vettel will start last due to a technical problem with his Ferrari.

In Q3, delayed by ten minutes to allow repairs to some barriers damaged by the impact with the Haas of the Frenchman Romain Grosjean at the end of Q2, the Spanish Carlos Sainz jr obtained the sixth time ahead of his Toro Rosso teammate, Daniil Kvyat . Eighth time for the Force India of the German Nico Huelkenberg, ninth for Fernando Alonso with McLaren and tenth for the other Force India, led by Sergio Perez.

Technical problems for Sebastian Vett's Ferrariel in qualifying for the Formula 1 Singapore GP. The German failed to set enough time to qualify for Q2 and will start from last position. After an attempt to fix his car in the pits to replace an anti-roll bar, Vettel had to give up on the last possible lap.

"What happened? I was riding three wheelers and couldn't make it to the second round. We have to understand what happened, also for Raikkonen's car. Of course it's a pity." This is how Ferrari driver Sebastian Vettel comments on the problem with an anti-roll bar on his car that will force him to start last tomorrow in the Singapore GP. “It's over for today – the German told Sky Sport – but tomorrow we have a long race with probably many safety cars and new tyres. It's not an ideal situation but we can have a good race,” he concluded
