The Fim Cisl, the metalworkers' union of the Cisl, continues to gather consensus in the renewals of the RSU and closes this week with the overwhelming reconfirmation of first union at Sevel in Val Di Sangro. From Guzzi (Piaggio Group), to Lighting in Venaria (Turin), to Magneti Marelli in Corbetta, to Rubiera Special Stell in Emilia Romagna and yesterday, with the victory at Thales Italia SPA in Gongorzola and SITE in Caserta, both historically Fiom strongholds. Today closes the week precisely with the reconfirmation of the primacy of first union in the renewals of RLS in Sevel in Val Di Sangro, the largest plat in Europe for the production of vans.
Results that confirm a trend of continuous growth in the number of members and representation which, despite the long crisis of recent years, "the FIM has been able to grasp - said the general secretary Marco Bentivogli -, away from ideological dogmas the transformations taking place in the world of work, translating them into new responses to protect workers. Often leaving the comfortable paths of conformity, it has taken uncomfortable positions and signed difficult agreements which have proved to be successful for the workers.
