Simest, the Company of CDP group which supports the internationalization of Italian companies, has launched a package of measures for a total of 700 million euros managed on behalf of the MAECI in support of companies affected by the recent flood.
These are three ad hoc measures divided as follows:
• Contributions a lost fund for 300 million – the resources will be allocated to compensation for exporting companies in the areas affected by the flood both for material damage suffered to movable and immovable property, and for loss of income due to the drop in turnover.
Subsidized loans for 400 million from the Fund 394/81 managed on behalf of the Farnesina - the resources will be disbursed in the form of loans at subsidized rates with non-repayable installments of 10% and exemption from guarantees.
Payment moratorium, Simest envisages a 12-month suspension of principal and interest payments on all outstanding loans under the Fund394 and the PNRR/Fund 394 measure.
At the same time, too the ICE has intended a fondo of 3 million for extraordinary support measures for businesses in the Emilia-Romagna and Marche regions affected.
The measures provide for concessions to companies admitted to the initiatives already planned by the ICE agency with offices in the municipalities recognized as "victims of the natural disaster". For one year, free participation will be guaranteed with a stand in the pavilions organized by the agency in the main foreign trade fairs and free participation in the promotion projects managed by ICE with international e-commerce platforms.
