Sicit will open a new production plant in China

Sicit will build a new production plant in the Tianjin region, China. The agreement was signed by the Vicenza-based company with Tianjin Port Free Trade Zone Administrative Committee and with the Chinese partner Jiegao Technology Co. Ltd. The announcement comes during the day of the visit of the president of the Veneto Region, Luca Zaia, at the Arzignano headquarters (Vicenza) for the inauguration of the new laboratories of the group active in biostimulants for agriculture and retardants for the plaster industry.

In detail, the new plant, which will be built in an urban area less than 200 kilometers from Beijing, is aimed exclusively at the production of finished products to directly serve local customers. The total investment is approximately 10 million euros.

Sicit, controlled by Intesa Holding and NB Renaissance, is preparing to close the year with more than satisfactory results. “Thanks to the positive performance of biostimulants and biofuels – he said Massimo Neresini, CEO of the Vicenza-based company – we aim for a 2021 turnover of over 75 million euros”. We recall that in 2020 revenues amounted to 63,2 million.

President Zaia, on a visit to the Arzignano headquarters, declared: “This company is a true temple of innovation. It seems to be in a large American research center where very high professionals work. Just 30 years ago it was science fiction. The operation that kept the company in Italy did very well”.
