Both towards the landing in Piazza Affari

Both has initiated the path to land the electronic stock market of the Italian Stock Exchange and the listing could take place within this year. The decision, announced by the CEO of the payments group, Massimo Arrighetti, was taken yesterday by the board of directors who also approved the 2015 accounts.

“The board has decided that the time has come to go public, which, moreover, was envisaged in the business plan developed with the entry of new shareholders – explained Arrighetti –, ideally we would like this year but we will see the market conditions: what matters is that the car has started. In any case I believe that before the summer it will be technically impossible, if anything in the autumn”.

Among the main shareholders of Sia are the Italian Strategic Fund with 49,5% and F2i with 17%, while Intesa Sanpaolo and Unicredit have just under 4%.

"It will be a true listing, it is probable that the majority of the capital will end up on the market given that FSI has already declared that it will hold 15% - added Arrighetti - it will be a pure sale IPO unless the conditions for operations materialize in the coming weeks extraordinary (the rumor of a merger with the English Vocalink, ed) has been circulating for months which could also see the need for a share capital increase”.

The goal, concluded the manager, is to become a public company with headquarters in Italy. According to the multiples of the latest quotations in the sector (11-14 times the EBITDA) Sia could be worth over 1,8 billion given that 2015 closed with a EBITDA of 124 million and a positive NFP of 109 million.
