Dop and Igp evenings, after Rome it's the turn of Naples

After Rome the “PDO and PGI evenings” promoted by the Ministry for Agricultural, Food, Forestry and Tourism Policies (Mipaaft) and by the Italian Telematic Commodity Exchange (Bmti). The initiative, which kicked off in Rome on 6 November and will end in Milan on 19 November, is dedicated to some of the best Italian gastronomic products.

The event in the Neapolitan capital, scheduled Tuesday 13 November at the Rosolino Corner, provides for the presentation of agri-food specialties with the possibility of purchasing or optioning them for the future according to their seasoning or aging period via the dop-igp.com telematic platform, created specifically to offer a new commercial channel that can enhance the best of these specialties.

During the evening there is also a tasting dinner prepared by the restaurant's chef and specially created to enhance the organoleptic properties of local products such as S. Andrea della Baraggia rice, balsamic vinegar of Reggio Emilia, Annurche apples, lard from Colonnata, Parmigiano Reggiano, Piennolo del Vesuvio cherry tomatoes, Gragnano pasta and white veal from the Marche region. All accompanied, in the glass, by a wine such as Coda di Volpe Sannio.

The last evening of the initiative, on November 19 at the Chef on board in Milan.
