Sella Gestioni presents the “Sustainable Investments” fund

A fund based on impact investing, which combines financial results with environmental and social development. AND Sustainable investments, the fund that Sella Gestioni, the Banca Sella Group's asset management company, presented as part of the fourth edition of the “Seri Week” organized by the Forum for Sustainable Finance.

The Investimenti Sostenibili fund was born from the modification of the management policy of the Sella Gestioni fund, Mixed Ethical Bond Fund, launched in 1999, which invested its assets by basing its investment choices on ethical criteria of exclusion of securities linked to activities harmful to the environment and people.

With the transition to Sustainable Investments, the fund will be managed from an "impact investing" perspective, selecting companies and projects that I promise to combine financial returns with positive environmental and social impact.

Sustainable investments range from microfinance to other environmental (renewable energy, energy independence, water and waste management) and social development (health, education, housing, fair trade) issues, supporting realities both in developed economies than in emerging economies.

The fund invests in bond and monetary financial instruments and, to a lesser extent, in instruments equity finance, denominated in any currency. It can be subscribed to by both institutional and retail customers. The retail customer can access Sustainable Investments with a minimum investment of 500 euros or 50 euros if subscribing to a Pac.

“Today savers do look at returns, but this is not the only important aspect. Sensitivity towards sustainability issues is growing and the interest is demonstrated by the significant growth we have recorded in the assets in our fund compared to past years" he declared Nicholas Trivelli, managing director and general manager of Sella Gestioni.
