And this time vanity pushes Segolene Royal, several times minister and former socialist candidate for the Presidency of the Republic in the 2007 elections when she was defeated in the second round by Nicolas Sarkozy, to stand as a candidate in the next European elections with the left-wing populist group La France Insoumise (LFI) of Jean Luc Melenchon.
