A 2014 of positive results in the most important international rankings for Bocconi and SDA Bocconi ends with the confirmation by Financial Times of positioning in its top ten of the best European schools, with the university maintaining its 8th place in the ranking of the rankings of the British newspaper.

The placement was achieved thanks to the results obtained by the Bocconi and SDA Bocconi programs in the respective specialist rankings published by Financial Times in the last 12 months. Bocconi's Master of Science in International Management has risen to 12th place in the world while SDA Bocconi's MBA has gained 11th place in Europe. The Executive MBA was placed on the 30th place in Europe while in the ranking of executive education the business school took 10th place in the old continent. Not included in the rankings calculation, Bocconi's Master of Science in Finance reached 8th place in the world.

"This placement is an important recognition of the efforts made by Bocconi and SDA Bocconi in recent years to further strengthen the internationalization of teaching, the training experience and placement", comments Stephen Caselli, pro-rector for internationalization of Bocconi. “We want to train graduates capable of competing in the global arena of the job market, responsible and capable of contributing to the improvement of our society. An effort recognized by the recruiters and appreciated by the pupils, as both demonstrate with their evaluations for the various rankings".

In 2014, the university confirmed itself as the only Italian school present in all the most important international rankings. Among the various placements obtained, Bloomberg Businessweek placed SDA Bocconi's MBA in 14th place among the best programs offered outside the US, while The Economist, awarded it 12th place in Europe. In the World University Ranking, Bocconi was placed 25th in the world, and 6th in Europe, among the universities specialized in the Social sciences and Management area.
