Promoted by Elis and Snam, in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, the new path combines the humanistic and scientific tradition of the Italian high school with STEM technology and subjects - Enrollments will be open until 28 January 2022

School: the high school of the ecological and digital transition begins

The new four-year high school for the ecological and digital transition will start next school year 2022/2023. A training which involves 27 high schools throughout Italy, 4 universities – Bocconi, Politecnico di Milano, University of Rome Tor Vergata and the University of Padua with the Mind4Children spin-off – and the companies of the Elis Consortium under the semester presidency of the CEO of Snam, Marco Alverà. To present enrollment application there is time until 28 January 2022, by contacting one of the schools participating in the trial.

The new "TED High School" aims to integrate the humanities and scientific knowledge of the traditional Italian high school into a single educational program with greater attention to STEM subjects (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics), on which the professions related to the environment and to development.

A new form of study and teaching. Classroom teaching will be joined by moments of learning still largely unexplored in high school courses, such as weekly workshops with experts on highly specialized topics, summer camps, company internships and stays abroad for language learning and knowledge of contexts global.

Le experiences abroad of the students will also be organized with the support of the international networks made available by the large companies participating in the project. The potential of digital teaching will be exploited to simultaneously connect all the classrooms of schools with particularly important teachers and experts.

The high school is part of the plan for the new four-year classes launched by the Minister of Education, Patrizio Bianchi, in line with the objectives of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan and in continuity with the "School Regeneration" plan.
