From 21 pm on Thursday 26 October to 21 pm on Friday 27 October a general strike risks sending the whole of Italy into a tailspin. But be careful because the times will vary according to the cities and sectors of reference.
A stop will be the whole transport sector, from local to rail and air. To try to reduce the impact of the protest, on Wednesday 25 October the Ministry of Infrastructures, through an ordinance, reduced the duration of the stops to 4 hours.
The demonstration is called by the Unitary Confederation of Base (Cub) with the support of Cobas, Sgb, Filt Cgil, Fit Cisl and Uiltrasporti. The aim is to rebel “against liberalism, privatizations, liberalizations; to change the system that generates wage, social, economic and gender inequalities and towards migrants".
ROME, ATAC STRIKE

FLORENCE, ATAF STRIKE

STRIKE OCTOBER 26-27, TRAINS AT RISK
But the sector that could be most affected by the protests is the railway sector where abstention is set for the same day, October 27, from the 9 13.
Trenitalia let it be known that the protest will not have repercussions on high-speed trains and the Frecce trains, but severe inconvenience and cancellations could occur on regional trains. STRIKE OCTOBER 27: PLANES
On the other hand, the possible inconveniences on the air sector have been reduced. Enav communicates that the strike of the air traffic controllers called by the unions from 27 October it was postponed to 10 November.
