Strike, transport at risk tomorrow

Tomorrow the national transport strike called by the Unitary Confederation of Base (CUB) will start. This is a 24-hour strike affecting national and local transport.

The vehicles will return to the depots this evening at 21 and will remain there until 21 on Thursday. The strike will affect trains, planes, ferries and ships. Employees of public health and education will also cross their arms. Inconveniences and delays are expected throughout the country. Great concern for commuters. Trenitalia has ensured that 95% of the connections will still be guaranteed and on time. Not insured above all regional transport.

In Milan Atm has announced that the buses will be stopped from 8.45 to 15.00 and from 18.00 until the end of the service. In Rome, where mobility will also be affected by the Uil regional strike in Lazio, vehicles will remain stationary from 8.30. In the maritime sector, vessels will remain in ports from 8.00 in the morning until 8.00 on Friday. The strike aims to contest the pension reform implemented by the outgoing government.
