It will be a Saturday of passion for those traveling by plane. The employees of Enav, Vueling and Blue Panorama have called a strike for the whole day of Saturday 21 July. Only the protected time slots will be guaranteed, those in which flights must be guaranteed by law, i.e. from 7 to 10 and from 18 to 21. The list of guaranteed flights can be consulted on the Enac website. The aircraft strike was called by the trade unions Filt-Cgil, Fit-Cisl, Uilt-Uil, Ugl-Ta, Anpac and Anpav.
The parties will meet today at the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport "for a meeting aimed at finalizing the negotiations", reads a statement from ENAV.
In detail, two national strikes are planned, one called by the trade union organizations Filt-Cgil, Fit-Cisl, Uiltrasporti and Unica and one called by the union organization Ugl-Ta.
There are also several local strikes:
- Brindisi Area Control Center – two separate strike actions called by FILT-CGIL, FIT-CISL, Ultrasporti, UNICA and UGL-TA;
- Milan Area Control Center – organized by UNICA;
- Padua Area Control Center – two separate strike actions called by FILT-CGIL, FIT-CISL, Uiltrasporti, UNICA and UGL-TA;
- Cagliari Airport – two separate strike actions called by UNICA and FIT-CISL;
- Catania Airport – organized by FIT-CISL, Uiltrasporti and UNICA;
- Lamezia Terme Airport – organized by UNICA;
- Palermo Airport – organized by FIT-CISL, Uiltrasporti and UNICA;
- Pescara Airport – organized by FIT-CISL and UNICA;
- Rome Ciampino Airport – two separate strike actions called by FILT-CGIL, FIT-CISL, Uiltrasporti, UNICA and UGL-TA;
- Rome Fiumicino Airport – organized by UGL-TA and UNICA;
- Venice Tessera Airport – organized by FIT-CISL and UNICA.
