Schaeuble: Italy does not need the EFSF

Italy doesn't need to be bailed out by Europe. Word of Wolfgang Schaeuble, German Finance Minister, who from Finland underlined the differences between our country and Greece, stressing however that Rome - under the supervision of the EU and the IMF - must contribute to restoring market confidence through the implementation of the anti- crisis.

According to Schaeuble, Italy is too big to be saved with the resources of the European State-saving Fund (EFSF) and in any case he would not need such help. “If the country will reduce the debt there is no problem“, concluded the minister from Berlin.
