During a hearing in the Senate's EU Policy Committee, the EIB Vice President Dario Scannapieco clarified that the project bond for the Passante of Mestre it is an "operation that we hope to conclude after the next administrative elections".
At the end of the hearing, Scannapieco also said that the EIB is at work but there are still some bureaucratic steps to define. For Vice President Bei, who said that there have been "demonstrations of interest from many investors“, also “of a Brazilian nature”, the operation should be concluded “before the summer”.
